Acupuncture for Balance & Ease
Acupuncture has been practiced for thousands of years as part of Traditional Chinese Medicine. At the core of Chinese medicine is the notion that a type of life force, or energy, known as Qi flows through energy pathways (meridians) in the body. Each meridian corresponds to the various organs that governs particular bodily functions.
An imbalance in the flow of Qi causes disease. To restore balance, an acupuncturist inserts very thin needles at strategic points on the body (nope, it doesn’t hurt.) The procedure of acupuncture has been used to treat and relieve symptoms of a wide range of diseases, medical conditions, and stress related disorders including digestive discomfort, anxiety, insomnia, and much more.
