More Warrior, Less Worrier with Magi Pierce

This practice will focus on standing well through the lens of both outer (physical) body and inner (subtle) body. We’ll look specifically at the Virabhadra Asanas (warrior postures) and anatomically how the alignment of the legs can directly affect and support the pelvis and lower back. This is an excellent class if you sit a lot (literally or energetically) as it will enliven the legs and offer both physical and mental cues to release worry and cultivate stability, clarity, and purpose.

Yoga is the yoking of the mind, body and spirit. We hear this time and time again and if we are lucky, we catch moments of it through our various practices. This class will be focused on achieving a glimpse of this experience of unifying and exploring how to sustain it. To do this, we will use asana, breath and focus drawing also from philosophies of Native traditions and the teachings and wisdom of the natural world.
