I started practicing yoga a few years after retiring from a long time competitive cheer leading and gymnastics background. Shortly after, I received my 200hr Vinyasa Yoga certificate in the fall of 2014.

Yoga has brought me many things, but if I could simplify that to one word it would be connection. It has taught me how to love myself, which was something I truly didn't understand the importance of until immersing myself wholeheartedly into the practice. This realization is what called me to become a teacher; being able to help heal and bring love and acceptance into peoples lives felt and still feels like my soul purpose.

I am constantly amazed, challenged and excited by yoga's ability harmonize strength, grace and surrender. I am still a curious and eager student myself, which translates in my teaching style; playful and exploratory. My classes are for students of all levels. They are fun, lighthearted, and challenging. 

My yoga journey started with hot vinyasa flow and I am passionate about teaching this style of yoga, as well as all levels, restorative and yin classes. For classes with music, I make custom playlists to add another layer of feeling and rhythm to class, to flow and to let loose while your moving.

 

Through the movement of the practice, I seek to mentor you further inward on this soul journey toward love, acceptance and consciousness. I hope to have the opportunity to guide you to a better understanding of yourself and to bring awareness to how much you are capable of and how special and worthy you are. I offer you a safe, loving space under my guidance to practice, to feel, and to transform your life.
