Welcome to JP Centre Yoga!

We are thrilled to have you join our vibrant yoga community. Whether you are a seasoned yoga practitioner or a beginner, our studio strives to offer a warm and supportive environment for all levels of experience. If you are joining us for the first time, allow us to share a few things that may be helpful to know about JP Centre Yoga.

Our Classes

We believe that yoga is a practice that should be inclusive, nurturing, and empowering for everyone who walks through our doors. Our diverse range of classes caters to various styles and levels of yoga. From the tranquil and meditative practice of Restorative Yoga to the dynamic flow of Vinyasa, there is something for everyone. Our team of teachers brings their unique expertise and passion for yoga to each class, providing guidance and support. Classes are open to individuals of all levels of experience, from beginners to advanced practitioners, so that everyone can feel comfortable and supported in their yoga journey. We also provide modifications and variations in poses, ensuring that participants of various abilities can participate fully and safely.

Our studio is equipped with all the essentials to enhance your yoga experience. We provide blocks, straps, bolsters and blankets for your convenience. If you don’t have your own mat, we rent them for $3. If attending a heated class, we recommend you also bring a towel (or rent one from us for $1.)

Schedule

To accommodate your busy schedule, we offer classes everyday of the week, starting as early as 7:00 am and as late as 7:30 pm.
Our online schedule provides up-to-date information about class times, styles, and instructors. Be sure to check regularly for any changes or updates.

Those who sign up for a livestream class but do not attend at the time of the class will receive a link to a recording, available for view for 48 hours.

Pricing and Packages

We offer a variety of membership options and class packages to suit your needs. Whether you prefer drop-in classes or wish to commit to a long-term practice, we have options that will meet your requirements. We understand that financial barriers should never hinder someone from experiencing the benefits of yoga. We therefor offer a tiered pricing model for all classes, events and training. We also provide scholarships, $6 community classes, and a workstudy program to make yoga accessible to those who may not have the means to otherwise attend classes. Please refer to our rates page for detailed information on all available packages.

If this is your first visit, be sure to benefit from our New Member Special: 2 weeks of unlimited classes for $30

Registration and Cancelation

Please pre-register for classes. When registering you will see that classes often appear twice on the schedule - one for in-person and one for livestream so be sure to sign up for the correct one. All sales are final and non-refundable.

If you are unable to attend an in-person class, we ask that you cancel no later than 1 hour before the class begins. If class is sold out, cancellations that occur after that point will be considered a Late Cancel. If the class is sold out, you will charged for that class. If class is not sold out, you will not be charged for a missed class and will be able to apply your purchase toward your next class.

Studio Etiquette

To maintain a peaceful and respectful atmosphere in the studio, we kindly request that you arrive on time for class to settle in and prepare your space. Please refrain from using cell phones or other electronic devices during class.

Covid Precautions

Please practice awareness and self-assess your health and exposure risk. Please do not practice in the studio if you are experiencing symptoms of Covid-19 or were exposed to someone who recently tested positive. You can always join us via livestream!

Our studios and lobby are spacious and equipped with return air filtering systems and air purifiers. You are welcome to practice with a mask if you wish to but we do not require masking or social distancing at this time.

Location and Accessibility

We are located at 670 Centre Street, on the top floor of a historic building in the heart of Jamaica Plain MA. With 14 foot high ceilings and lots of natural light, our roughly 4500 square-foot studio has three practice rooms, a large lounging lobby space, and an acupuncture treatment room. We have two restrooms in the building, one of which is a gender neutral single stall bathroom.

Our studio is located on the 3rd floor of the building with no elevator so unfortunately we are not accessible to those who cannot use the stairs.

Our Initiatives
