MAX SASS (he/him)

Yoga slowly became part of my life as a supplement to competitive sports and a love for movement. As I grew older, an interest in the mind-body connection and a search for answers led me deeper into my practice. In 2019, I traveled to Northern India where I completed my 200hr training at the Himalayan Yoga Association. In 2021, I completed my 300hr training at Down Under School of Yoga. 

Yogic practice and philosophy has supported and helped me heal through both physical disease and mental anguish. I find that mindful movement on a yoga mat translates to more mindful action in everyday life. As a native of Boston, it is an honor to share the ancient wisdom of yoga with my community. Throughout my journey on the path less traveled, I have lived among many communities, learning to become adaptable and search for the beauty in All. These are lessons I carry with me into the studio.

What You Can Expect From My Classes

In my class, you will find an accepting space to challenge yourself joyfully. Rooted in the rhythm of vinyasa and influenced by shamanism as well as meditation, my class feels like an enveloping experience. Expect the arc of a journey as you are led deeper into your body. My aim is to guide, but still leave room for self-exploration. Forever a student, I look forward to practicing and growing together.
