HARSHINI SENTHIL
My journey with yoga began over 10 years ago, simply from my passion and curiosity to try new things. I grew up in the Boston area and found a class nearby while in high school. I took classes here and there but dove into my practice during college. At the time, I had a mentor who is a certified yoga instructor, and I was really inspired by her way of teaching. It was my first yoga class that felt intentional rather than just another workout program. I was introduced to mind-body connection, integrating meditation, and a very real feeling of community. Once I started realizing and feeling the physical and mental benefits, I began implementing yoga into my everyday routine. One thing about me is I love being slow and feeling every movement in a posture.
Whatever emotion I'm feeling, from joy to stress, yoga is often what I need. In my 200-Hour Teacher Training at JPCY, I was given a wealth of knowledge that I'm eager to share with my community. In my class, I hope to invite playfulness and joy while integrating resources and lessons you can take home with you. My main goal will always be to make yoga accessible for all people.
