AMIE THOMAS
My journey to yoga began unexpectedly. At the beginning of my fitness journey. I wandered into a yoga class without knowing what to expect. I didn't understand the terminology, and I didn't have the strength or flexibility to do many of the poses. With the support of my instructors, I kept coming back. Somewhere along the way, I didn't realize it at the time, but something in me was beginning to change.
Over time, yoga became so much more than movement. It taught me about my body, my mind, and who I am. I found confidence both on and off the mat, learned how to slow down and regulate my nervous system, and discovered the importance of self-reflection and patience with myself. Those lessons have stayed with me far beyond my practice.
What To Expect From My Classes
My classes are centered on connecting breath with movement, creating a practice that is both grounding and energizing. You'll be encouraged to explore new poses, challenge yourself in a supportive way, and discover what you're capable of—all while honoring your body and meeting yourself where you are.
Whether you're brand new to yoga or have been practicing for years, we'll build strong foundations that support continued growth. You'll leave with more than a stronger body—you'll have time to slow down, clear your mind, and simply be.
