LIZ SARLEY (she/her)

Growing up in California, some of my earliest memories include tagging along to yoga classes with mom. And over the years, yoga evolved into more than just exercise for me. It became a way of moving through the world with (hopefully) more intention, more connection to people and place.

I joined the work-study team at JP Centre Yoga in 2024 after moving back East following a five-year West Coast vacation. JPCY was such a welcoming place to land back in Boston. I love quirky JP and JPCY’s place right in the heart of the neighborhood.

JPCY’s mission of making yoga more accessible for more people with community at the center of everything we do, is what I strive toward now as Assistant Studio Manager.

When I’m not on the studio couch or my yoga mat, I'm over at Tufts working on my master's in urban planning. For the past decade, I’ve worked at the intersection of storytelling and complexity, translating policy and research into ideas the public can actually act on. I care about designing smarter, more sustainable cities, policies, and products for people.

Outside work, you can find me strolling around JP Pond with my pup Sunny, hunting down a half-decent burrito in Boston, and telling anyone who'll listen about my latest entrepreneurial adventure, currently a hot sauce business called Spice Boys!
