In this practice for all levels, we’ll explore the mechanics of ankle and knee flexion, starting from the ground and going up the kinetic chain. We’ll break down optimal movement patterns using self-massage and interoceptive imagery to access deeper awareness of the subtle foot-ankle-knee connection.
When the body is prepped to get the most out of our practice, we'll progress to conditioning for efficient daily movements from the basics to yoga postures and common sports.
Props: Blocks, Blanket, myofascial release ball (or other strong ball tennis ball size or smaller), yoga strap, and a quarter-sized coin.
